Grooming Schedule
We understand that booking a grooming appointment for your dog can often be a last minute thought and it can be frustrating when there are no immediate appointments available.

To assist you in ensuring that your pet's grooming is taken care of we offer a Grooming Schedule:

Please be aware that if you miss an appointment booked in your Grooming Schedule the cost is forfeited by you unless you reschedule prior to the day of your appoinment.
For all grooming services, we require your dog to be in the salon for at least 2 hours.

GROOMING
Regular grooming is important and necessary for your pet's well being!
Appointments every 6-8 weeks minimum not only assists you in managing your pet's coat and skin health but it also ensures your pet has a happy and healthy life.
At What the Pup we use Plush Puppy products:
Their products are scientifically formulated and packed with enriching active ingredients that are as nourishing and beneficial for the skin as they are for the coat.
Please keep in mind that we are often booked out about a month in advance so we recommend rebooking your next appointment on each visit.
*Displayed prices are quotes only. Matting fee, de-matting fee, impacted undercoat fee, long-coat brush out fee and extra time fee may be added depending on your dog's coat condition, behaviour and reactivity. Fees are added at the groomer's discretion.

A message from our groomers...
We are dog groomers because we are dog lovers! We love your pup like they are our own so we'd just like you to know a few points that will help us give your pet the most positive, comfortable and fear-free experience.
Please allocate at least 2 hours for your pup's grooming appointment. Planning your day around their appointment would assist us greatly. If you have other appointments to attend during your day we are more than happy to assist you with timing your appointment for your convenience if you give us at least 24 hours notice.

Please be patient with us. We often put aside our needs to ensure your pup is happy and safe. This makes our jobs very physically demanding, time consuming and unpredictable. Your understanding is appreciated.

We accommodate multiple pets of all sizes, temperaments and grooming needs. As such, there are multiple factors that will impact the time taken to complete your pet's groom. We will not rush your pet's service to meet your time constraints. This compromises grooming quality, your dog's positive grooming experience, comfort and safety.

Please be kind, your pups are our babies too. If we cannot achieve your grooming request due to your pet's reactivity or potential harm to your pet, we will not undertake the request as our priority is your pup's wellbeing.

We will text or call you when your pet is ready for collection. A 2 hour pick up window applies from the time we inform you. To ensure your pet receives the appropriate attention and care, daycare fees apply from the end of the 2 hour pick up window. Please let us know if you'd like them to go straight into daycare after their groom to avoid the inconvenience for us and your pup.

Please let us know if you have any concerns, we are happy to explain grooming processes to you and will be honest with you about your dog's behaviour, likes and dislikes.
